Walmart Recalls 4.4 Million Expert Grill Brushes Over Ingestion Risk

Walmart has recalled more than 4.4 million Expert Grill metal wire bristle grill brushes because their bristles can detach and become lodged in food or on the grill grate, creating an ingestion hazard that could cause serious internal injury requiring surgery, according to Hip2Save.

The recalled brushes were sold between January 2021 and August 2026 for roughly $1 to $28, and several different models are included in the recall. Walmart is asking anyone with one of the affected brushes to stop using it right away and contact the retailer for a refund or store credit.
